Full Tang Knives

All full tang knives come with a handmade leather sheath and tapered tang. My standard, full tang knife is made out of 5/32” CPM 154 CM stainless steel and features a tapered tang. They are heat treated to 59-61 Rockwell and are hollow ground to about .015” before they receive their final cutting edge. The standard blade finish is a fine bead blast, which gives the blade a matte gray look. The handle of a standard knife comes with 3/32” stainless steel pins and any one of the following handle materials:

Wood: Purpleheart, black palm, African Blackwood, Bloodwood, Bocote, Cocobolo, Ebony, Kingwood, Mesquite, Olivewood, Rosewood, Tulipwood, Western Walnut, Zebrawood, or Ziricote.

Bone or horn: Water Buffalo

Synthetic: G10

Micarta: Green Micarta, Black Micarta, Green/Black/Tan Micarta, or Brown Micarta

Paper Micarta: Black, Ivory

Hidden Tang Knives

All hidden tang knives come with a handmade leather sheath. Hidden tang drop points come standard with a bead blast blade finish and 416 stainless steel guard. Some options for standard version handle materials and spacers include:

Lead Time

Due to high demand, JB Custom Knives currently has a 10 month waiting period to fulfill orders. Because of this, we only require a 20% down payment at checkout to begin building your custom knife. The remaining balance will not be due until your knife is ready to ship. ALL KNIVES NOT PAID FOR WITHIN A MONTH OF COMPLETION WILL BE SOLD UNLESS PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE.
